1st. Stamp

I really appreciet the stamps that FetishGhost's makes ...

Finally I had time to make some stamps now.
But first , I used the one (the spiral) that my dear teacher Estela gave me
two years ago before retiring from pottery, and I was keeping very carefully.
So, they will start to came out...

Alan has only 4 months on banding wheel classes.
These are some of his first pieces. Fired at gas kiln, 1300ºC.

Estas são algumas das suas primeiras peças.
Queimadas em forno a gás, 1300ºC.

Graciela made these pieces during the handbuilding pottery classes.
A collection of glazed plates and two vases with iron oxide.
Both works using engobes with inlay technique.
Fired at 1300ºC, gas kiln at Hideko Honma Atelier.

Graciela fez estas peças durante as aulas de modelagem manual.
Uma coleção de pratos esmaltados e dois vasos com óxido de ferro.
Ambos trabalhos usando engobes e a técnica de incrustação.
Queimados a 1300ºC, forno a gás, no Atelier Hideko Honma.

I would like to congratulate, and thanks all of my students, I learn a lot with them.
I'll be posting more works from them soon.

Slip and Colors

This slips are from Tuca Juliano, wheel student here in Vinhedo.
She is developing slipewares colors palete for her work.
She works with Farias (square) and Itu (round tests) clays, and here we have tests in both clays.
She used oxid of iron, manganese, zinc and cobalt.
Eletric kiln 1250ºC, hard latther aplication.

Seashell from memory

(19 cm x 11 cm x 5,5 cm)

Handbuilt, this kind of seashell, with details in engobe was fired on gas kiln .
It´s from two years ago, when I made a group of 12 unique pieces.
knew it recently that one of them, is at Brazilan Navy Hidrography Center at Rio de Janeiro, I know no better place to it.
This one I keep, has something about the sea, from my city; something that
I really feel good when I look, when I touch it.
A seashell; from the sea of my memory.

Feita a mão, esta peça é uma espécie de concha, com detalhes
em engobe e queimada em forno a gás.
É de uns dois anos atrás, quando fiz um grupo de 12 peças únicas.
Recentemente eu soube que uma delas está no Centro de Hidrografia da Marinha,
no Rio de Janeiro. Certamente um bom lugar para ela.
Esta eu guardei; tem algo de mar, algo de minha cidade,
algo que faz-me sentir muito bem.
Uma concha; do mar de minha memória.
